I personally like this though!

I realised I’m drawn more to reading what’s on an ad first, rather than looking at its pretty graphics. But good copywriting done in good typography accompanied by pretty graphics is a real bonus!

On a different note, dear booklovers, MPH is now on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube! So in the meantime of waiting for the upgrade to complete, you can search for “mphclick” and see who launched what book and of course, reviews on attention-worthy books and booksales! Wee!
Phew. Finally an update after so long.
Here’s what I recently did, under 5 hours (An emergency job!). It’s for one of my sister’s BA assignment — A business plan for a Laundry Cafe.

Final Logo

What it would look (thanks for the typo check, Sharmi) like on a staff polo t-shirt:

And a cap:

Lastly, at the store front:

My logo ideation: I tried to capture both “laundromat” and “cafe” in 1 design, which one brought me to the colour blue, t-shirt, washing machine, and bubbles; and the latter to coffee, and instantly brought me to a coffee pot, coffee mug and a coaster.

I imagine the place to be cosy and inviting, instead of just having rows of washing machines and dryers lacking personality and warmth. So I made the logo look casual, hence the handwritten font style for “Easy Wash”. And I wanted “Laundry Cafe” to stand out a bit more, by using a bold serif font. So equally both set of words stand out for different reasons.
The logo says Easy Wash Laundry Cafe is where you want to gather your friends and spend your lazy sunday afternoons doing laundry.
Yosh!

Yosh I’m done uploading my artworks!

I meant to doodle something and post it (as I had made a mental note to do it for every entry) but for now, I haven’t got the time. So I promise in the next post, I’ll doodle something, no matter how bad it’ll look since drawing is my weakest point!
But nevertheless it’ll add more life to this empty board.

OMG I’m so excited! I’ve got a business plan. But I won’t say anything just yet. But it’s gonna be a big thing, for me, at least :D
God, I miss writing. It’s been awhile.
